Calling all Spiritual Activists
When I started this blog I didn’t know what it was for.
I decided to call it “conscious blog”. A lazy attempt to incorporate my name Chaun Conscious.
I chose “Conscious” as my spiritual name as a way to demonstrate that I identify as a conscious being more than I identitfy as a skin colour, gender, sexuality, favourite fruit or preferred sexual position.
Being conscious means everything. To me.
When I started writing articles I thought they would be for everyone. After all, we all want to change the world right?
Everyone wants to change the world but not everyone has the time, patience or deep desire to do so.
We are what we focus on.
If you want to change the world yet spend more time following celebrity gossip then hey, I’m not knocking you. I get just as caught up with it too sometimes, and there certainly isn’t anything “wrong” with that.
However. I believe that there exist people who not only want to see real change in this world, they want to be a part of making that shift too.
The people who are tired of the same old boring conventions of right and wrong.
The people who are passionate about equality. The people who are activists, more specifically – spiritual activists.
What are spiritual activists?
Spiritual activists seek to use their spiritual knowledge and all the lessons they have learned along the way to help inform and inspire the world.
Spiritual activism is not about condemning or belittling people for where they are, what they do, or how they choose to live.
Spiritual activists do not think that they are better than others or that they have more knowledge or power than others.
Spiritual activists wish to use their spiritual integrity to let the world know the following:
We desire nothing more than to offer the world HOPE. We have been through a lot so we know that life does get better if you just hold on to that Light that you have always felt inside. If you just hold on to that Voice that has told you, MATE, hold on! You can do this! You will do this! This is happening for a reason!
Don’t get me wrong, group meditation and yoga can be fun. But how can we use our spiritual energy to make a meaningful shift in this world?
The Spiritual Activist cannot help but daydream about a better world. A fairer world. A more equal world. A world far more evolved, far more free and far more joyous for all of humankind.
We do not wish to divide humankind into silly categories based on colours that aren’t even in the rainbow.
We do not wish to have strict rules about the way masculine and feminine energy should and should not be expressed.
We wish to be free! We recognise that freedom is love. And boy oh boy do we love. HARD.
Join me on this journey.
I want to meet you, let’s get together and make this shift!
Spiritual Activists UNITE!
We’re coming to a world near you.
Peace. Dopeness. Love. Light
